The security light would also blink like normal when the truck was off. Now after replacing the batteries, the radio doesn't turn on. If I hit the power button or Info button the radio button illumination will cut on. The time will show for about 10 secs and cut off. It will also allow me to load or eject CD's.

There are 2 intermittent problems on my new 2011 Silverado 1500 LT radio system: when I listen to people on radio, I hear scratches and the voice is sometimes distorted. My GM Chevrolet Dealer says this is normal as he hears the same on a similar new truck in his lot.

There are some tricks for cds that get stuck and other mechanical things like that, but I don't know of any for the laser itself besides cleaning. Good luck in your search.

So on mine you would have it on radio, and all the other screens would show up on it. I took it they updated it and all is good now.
